Terms of service
The plain-language rules for using Tidings during beta. Last updated August 11, 2026.
The service
Tidings is a product-analytics service: your applications send us events over HTTP, and we store and display them for your team. It is currently in beta and free to use within the published limits.
Your account
You're responsible for your account credentials and API keys. Anyone holding a valid API key can write events into the associated project, so treat keys like secrets and revoke any that leak.
Acceptable use
Don't send us data you have no right to process, don't use Tidings to track people unlawfully, and don't attempt to disrupt the service or access other tenants' data. We may rate-limit or suspend abusive traffic.
Your data
Your events remain yours. We process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. Deleting a project deletes its data permanently.
Beta status, no warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. During beta, features may change and occasional downtime or data loss is possible — keep a copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. Limits and pricing may change with notice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months — which, during the free beta, is zero.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product matures. Material changes will be noted here with a new date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
